As the Library Director at Shawnee State University, Suzanne oversees operations and the staff of collection development, public services, and systems and technical services professionals who support more than 3,600 students. With twenty years of experience in public, K-12, and academic libraries, she has a thorough understanding of information organization and library operations as it pertains to information seeking behaviors and resource management. Prior to becoming Director, Johnson-Varney served more than a decade as the Technical Services & Collection Management Librarian at Shawnee State. She received her MLS from Kent State University.
