Judy Cobb is the Associate Director of Operations and Platforms at OhioLINK. Cobb leads the implementation of policies and procedures for the operational support and assessment of internal OhioLINK services, as well as prioritizes projects for future development across the entire OhioLINK services portfolio. Her responsibilities include directing OhioLINK’s content platforms, member support, and eTutoring services. She works closely with OhioLINK and OH-TECH staff on the policy, procedures, workflows, and infrastructure necessary for maintaining and improving these platforms.
Prior to joining OhioLINK, she spent over a decade at the Online Computer Library Center, Inc. (OCLC), most recently as a product manager for digital collection services. She was also the Assistant State Archivist at the Ohio History Connection, where she managed operations for the State of Ohio Archives and the Local Government Records programs and was a founding member of the Ohio Electronic Records Committee.
Judy has presented on digital library and archives topics at meetings of the Society of American Archivists, the American Library Association, the National Association of Government Archivists and Records Administrators, and the Museum Computer Network. She has developed and taught workshops on records management, electronic records, digital project planning, metadata, and digital preservation.
Her Master of Library Science is from the University at Buffalo and her undergraduate degree in Religion is from Houghton College.
