The Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine students do not need to buy the required or optional textbooks. The College buys copies of all of the required textbooks (not available online) and puts them on reserve in the medical library for students to use. Optional text books already available within the medical library are selected by the curriculum development team or faculty and are put on reserve for a specific time period.
Faculty and the curriculum development team are in contact with the medical librarians and select textbooks that are already available digitally through the medical libraries subscriptions.
