Acceptable Use Policy

Authorized Users: OhioLINK member students, faculty, staff, and library users.

Authorized Use

  1. The Music Center is available for individual educational, research, and personal purposes.
  2. You may search this database and view the results of your searches on screen.
  3. You may listen to any audio file retrieved as a result of your search using the embedded media players.
  4. You may not download or permanently store any content retrieved as part of your search.

Examples of prohibited uses:

  1. You may not systematically download or transmit (in any form) content from this database to anyone not involved in education or research at an OhioLINK institution.
  2. You may not broadcast or publicly perform content from this database for non-educational purposes.
  3. You may not use the database for commercial purposes.

Allowed uses for the OhioLINK Music Center:

  1. Educational: There are no additional restrictions on the use of this database, by authorized users, for educational purposes including using the content in coursework and classroom contexts.
  2. Recreational: Authorized users may listen to the content of this database for individual, recreational purposes.

This content of this database is provided by purchase or lease through the Ohio Library and Information Network (OhioLINK). Use of this content is governed by the terms and conditions of the license agreement between OhioLINK and the content producer(s). OhioLINK reserves the right to prohibit any use of the database which has adverse effects on use of the system by other users.
